Website Hosting Migration
Due to the need to consolidate and streamline our services, Finer Design will no longer be offering hosting services. We are asking current hosting clients to sign up with another hosting provider on or around the time when their current hosting term expires. You may choose to migrate your website sooner if you wish to do so.
Finer Design - http://www.finerdesign.com will continue to operate and continue to offer custom design and pre-made website templates.
Reliance Hosting - http://www.reliancehosting.com, our hosting company will be shutting down completely and suspending all operations.
What You Need To Do
If you opt to sign up with Liquid Web, our recommended website hosting company, we will move your website for you, including all files, databases and email accounts at no additional charge to you *.
Note: The Shared Standard hosting plan will be sufficient, unless we have notified you otherwise. We have chosen Liquid Web specifically because of our good experiences with them in the past as well as the type of server and control panel they offer, which is nearly identical or superior in features to Reliance Hosting.
If you would like Finer Design to move your website for you at no charge*, you must sign up by clicking through the following link:
Once sign up is complete, please provide us with your Liquid Web username and password in your welcome email and we will take care of the move for you.
You may of course sign up with any hosting company you want, but please be advised that some or all features of your website may not function if you are not on a Linux server that supports PHP, Perl/CGI, and MySQL databases. Additionally, we may not be able to assist you in the hosting migration should you sign up with another hosting company.
